FitSplit Consent Notice

This notice provides short-form consent language for FitSplit account creation, first login, and feature-level prompts. It should be shown with links to the full Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Health and Fitness Disclaimer, Cookie Policy, and Data Rights and Grievance Notice.

1. First-login consent copy

Use this copy for the first-login consent gate:

I agree to the FitSplit Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. I understand that FitSplit is a fitness and gym-management tool, not a medical service. I consent to FitSplit and my gym processing my personal data, including health and fitness data such as workouts, body metrics, macros, injury notes, coach notes, attendance, membership, and training records, to provide the Service. I understand I can withdraw consent or request access, correction, export, or deletion as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Rights and Grievance Notice.

I agree to the Terms, Privacy Policy, and processing of my health and fitness data.

Do not pre-check the box.

2. Location/geofence prompt copy

Use this copy before requesting browser location for attendance:

FitSplit uses your device location only when you check in or check out to verify whether you are within your gym's attendance radius. FitSplit does not track your background location. You can deny location access, but geofenced attendance may not work.

3. Push notification prompt copy

Use this copy before requesting browser/device push notification permission:

FitSplit can send service notifications about programs, membership expiry, personal training sessions, and gym updates. You can turn notifications off in your browser or device settings at any time.

4. Health and injury note prompt copy

Use this copy near injury notes or coach-note inputs:

Do not enter emergency medical information. Injury and limitation notes help your gym adapt training, but FitSplit is not a medical service. For pain, injury, or medical concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

5. Gym owner onboarding copy

Use this copy when a gym owner first activates a workspace:

I confirm that my gym has authority to add members, trainers, staff, and related personal data to FitSplit. I agree to provide required privacy notices and obtain required consents, including for health and fitness data, location-based attendance, minors where applicable, and push notifications. I agree to the FitSplit Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Gym Data Processing Addendum, Privacy Policy, and Subprocessor List.

6. Withdrawal and rights copy

Use this copy in account settings or privacy settings:

You can request a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by using the available app tools or emailing fitsplit.in@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, dispute, or gym-operational reasons.
