FitSplit Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Last updated: July 5, 2026

FitSplit is a gym-management and fitness-tracking software platform. FitSplit is not a medical provider, healthcare provider, dietitian, physiotherapist, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

1. No medical advice

Information in FitSplit, including workout plans, exercise videos, trainer notes, progress charts, body metrics, macro targets, injury notes, and attendance/activity data, is provided for general fitness, coaching, and gym-management purposes only.

It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, therapy, or a recommendation for any medical condition.

2. Consult a professional

Before starting, changing, or intensifying any workout, nutrition, weight-loss, bodybuilding, rehabilitation, or fitness program, consult a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you:

  • have pain, injury, illness, disability, or a medical condition;
  • are pregnant or recently postpartum;
  • have heart, blood pressure, respiratory, metabolic, neurological, or musculoskeletal concerns;
  • are taking medication that may affect exercise;
  • are new to exercise or returning after a long break.

3. Exercise risk

Exercise involves risk, including muscle soreness, strain, sprain, dizziness, fainting, falls, overtraining, aggravation of existing conditions, and serious injury. You are responsible for listening to your body, using proper form, using equipment safely, following gym rules, and stopping immediately if something feels unsafe.

Seek urgent medical help if you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, severe dizziness, sudden weakness, severe headache, or other emergency symptoms.

4. Trainer and gym responsibility

Gyms, owners, trainers, and staff are responsible for:

  • assessing member readiness where appropriate;
  • adapting workouts to member ability, injuries, and limitations;
  • supervising sessions where supervision is promised or required;
  • maintaining safe premises and equipment;
  • complying with professional, consumer, safety, employment, and fitness-industry obligations;
  • avoiding unqualified medical, nutrition, or rehabilitation advice.

FitSplit provides the software record and workflow. It does not independently verify the safety or suitability of gym-provided workouts, coaching, or facility operations.

5. Nutrition and macros

Macro and nutrition features are informational and may be based on user or gym input. They are not medical nutrition therapy. Consult a qualified doctor or dietitian before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have diabetes, kidney disease, eating-disorder history, pregnancy, or other medical concerns.

6. No guaranteed results

Fitness outcomes vary based on genetics, health, consistency, sleep, nutrition, coaching, equipment, injury history, medication, and other factors. FitSplit does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, strength improvement, body composition changes, pain reduction, or any health result.

7. Acceptance

By using FitSplit fitness, workout, PT, progress, macro, attendance, or body-metric features, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and agree to use the Service responsibly.
